The two pairs set off from Toulouse at 8am on Friday February 11 and returned on the evening of February 12, hitchhiking only.

So they left Simorre to settle in the new town, where they had a castle built. Inside the bastide, they built a seigneurial residence with a square brick tower, which can still be seen today. In 1739, the Earl of Astarac married a member of the Rohan-Chabot family (descendants of the Dukes of Brittany), hence the current name of the tower visible at the corner of rue des écoles and rue Sérignac.
