Who are we?
Portraits 2 Passages is the adventure of a passionate team — Nicolas, Lou and Diane — brought together by a desire to discover the world differently. The project was born when we met at the Université de technologie de Troyes (UTT) in 2014, shaped by our student-association projects and a sensitivity to sustainability and local cultures.
Since 2021, we have been taking participants to explore little-known regions and meet the people who live there, favouring authenticity, spontaneity and human connection. A way of travelling that goes far beyond conventional tourism.
This approach is backed by our teaching and research on using digital technology for a fair, sober and robust societal transition.
I design data analysis software for industry at Optimistik and teach responsible digital technology and cryptography at several institutions (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, CNAM, UTT).
I teach Life Cycle Assessment and computer science at ENSAM, and research the digital and societal transitions (their synergies and incompatibilities).
I develop and oversee measuring instruments for environmental research at LSCE (CEA), and I often go on field missions to provide technical support to scientific teams.
